Trustees Week 2020

This #TrusteesWeek2020 we have been giving thanks to one of our trustees. Ruby Porter, for her involvement and years of dedication to the vulnerable mothers and children living in The Sreepur Village charity in Bangladesh.

Today, Ruby tells us why she is so proud to be part of The Sreepur Village charity.

"I am proud to be a trustee of such an incredible charity. Empowering women is so vital to looking after families! The women we work with are abused and destitute and when they leave the village, they leave us with skills, often employment, and with dignity!

I have been an integral member of the board of trustees for 16 years and have thoroughly enjoyed every minute of the work I do as I know our hard work makes a difference to the women and their children at Sreepur!

It’s so important during this pandemic that we continue to support this charity and help one of the most vulnerable countries on the planet.
