Picnic
Last week we took the mothers and children of the Sreepur Village for a picnic. Who would have thought that this season could be so accommodating and the ideal setting for a treat or two!
It was a cool morning when all the mothers and children gathered in front of the main gate of The Sreepur Village, eager to begin their picnic adventures. Armed with fruits and cake and singing and clapping, they happily made their way to the chosen spot. Upon arrival, freckles of sunlight could be seen peeping through the surrounding trees, it was such a lovely atmosphere.
The trees, like parasols, shielded some from the winter’s sun while others explored the area. After eating, it was the perfect opportunity to play a round of games which was followed by a prize-giving ceremony. As the sun began to fall, everyone packed up and merrily returned to The Sreepur Village.
